Standards and Quality Report & Improvement Plans
We carefully review our practice during the year by asking for feedback from everyone involved and by self and peer evaluating. We do this through parent and pupil questionnaires, postcards at the front door, conversations and by following guidance from Education Scotland. In particular we assess ourselves against the Quality Indicators from the following publications.

2016 Parental Feedback Data:
This year you have given us two areas for development, one is informing you about your child’s progress. We have begun a process to develop reporting to parents further by showing you what the children have learned and what targets have been set for any particular event. You will have noticed this in the PowerPoint at the Queen’s Birthday Party. This will be developed further along with curricular open afternoons.
You also mentioned after school activities. We have a few plans for developing afternoon activities further and these will be rolled out across the new academic year.
In addition we will be focusing on developing French in school as part of the Scotland wide 1+2 Languages initiative and our curricular focus this year will be reading.

Our pupils have also been asked for their views and these will add to our plans.

Our nursery plan their improvements based on their own evaluations, the Care Inspectorate report, support and guidance from the Early Years Principal Teacher and from feedback from parents.
